The enemies are fairly visible but there are several gimmicks with the drakes that makes traversing the stage not as simple as it looks. If FromSoftware and Sony were ever to reboot an old IP, Demon’s Souls isn’t even at the top of the list. Overall, while fans will always hold on to hope for an eventual Demon’s Souls 2, it’s unlikely to happen, though I’ll happily eat my words if it does. Unfortunately, things aren’t looking great for a dedicated sequel to Demon’s Souls, despite there being high demand and a massive built-in audience. The main problem is one that fans of FromSoftware (the company responsible for all things Souls) are more than familiar with, which ultimately comes down to who owns the rights to the Demon’s Souls IP.
